ABOUT THE ARTIST

Richie Fawcett is a multi-talented artist and photographer whose career spans from Egyptian Archaeology at UCL to the forefront of London's 1990s lifestyle photography scene for titles like FHM and DJ Mag. This diverse background informs his unique perspective on capturing history and culture through visual media.

A nomad in the global hospitality industry, Richie transitioned from world-class photography to becoming a pivotal figure in the emerging cocktail scenes of London and Hong Kong. He eventually settled in Saigon over fifteen years ago, where he has since designed and managed some of the city's most iconic venues, mentoring the next generation of Vietnam's top bartending talent.

Richie's artistic practice is deeply rooted in the streets of Saigon. His signature city skyline sketches and thumbnails of daily life are born from days spent observing street corners. This passion culminated in the publication of "Cocktail Art of Saigon," a celebrated three-volume series blending cocktail recipes with architectural sketches and historical narratives.
